Kiawah Island Board to Host Public Hearing on Variance Requests

The Kiawah Island Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on August 18, 2025, starting at 1:00 p.m. This session will take place at the Kiawah Island Municipal Center, located at 4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Another request, recorded as Case # BZA25-000012, also seeks a variance for a similar increase in maximum lot coverage by 0.64%. This request pertains to a proposed generator stand located at 1053 Shoveler Court, Kiawah Island, SC (TMS # 207-06-00-054).

Lastly, Case # BZA25-000013 involves a request for a reduction of the required 5-foot side setback by approximately 31 square feet for an addition proposed at 1031 Warbler Court.
