A new haunted house experience, the “Hall of Horrors,” opens today, October 24, at the Eureka Veterans Memorial Hall. Organized by Dark Council Productions in collaboration with the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post, this event aims to raise funds for both the VFW and the North Coast Repertory Theatre.

The haunted house will be available for attendees on several dates, including October 24, 25, and 31. General admission tickets are priced at $35, while the two designated adult nights will cost $40. For those looking for savings, promotional codes offering $15 off tickets are available on the event’s website, darkcouncilproductions.com.

In addition to the haunted house, the event will feature a small local crafts fair, food vendors, and live music or a DJ each night. Notably, October 24 and 25 are marked as “adult nights,” promising an elevated scare factor for thrill-seekers. The event will also showcase a performance by the local group Va Va Voom on October 24.

All proceeds from this haunted house initiative will directly support the VFW post and the North Coast Repertory Theatre, making it a community-oriented event that blends entertainment with fundraising. Attendees can enjoy a night filled with fright while contributing to local veterans and the arts. This collaboration highlights the importance of community engagement and support for local organizations.
