Dumitrescu Family Showcases Musical Talent at Christ Episcopal Church

The Christ Episcopal Church in Eureka will host a concert featuring the talented Dumitrescu family on Sunday at 4 p.m.. This event is part of the church’s summer concert series, aimed at bringing the community together through music. Located at the intersection of 15th and H streets, the concert is open to the public and free of charge.
Musical Expertise of the Dumitrescu Family
The concert will showcase the musical talents of Adrian and Jolene Dumitrescu, who will perform on the violin and piano, respectively. Both musicians have a rich background in music education and performance. Adrian Dumitrescu holds a Master of Music degree in violin performance and orchestral conducting from the University of Southern California. In addition to his musical career, he works as an implant specialist, having earned several degrees in dental-related fields.
Jolene Dumitrescu complements her husband’s expertise with her own credentials, having received a Master of Music degree in piano pedagogy from the University of Texas at Austin. Together, they have enjoyed successful careers as soloists and have collaborated in various chamber and orchestral performances.
Concert Program and Community Engagement
The concert will feature an array of classical pieces, including compositions by renowned composers such as J.S. Bach, F. Schubert, A. Dvorak, and F. Kreisler. This selection reflects the couple’s diverse musical interests and their ability to engage audiences with different styles.
Following the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments, fostering a sense of community and connection among participants. Off-street parking is available at the corner of 14th and G streets, and there is a handicapped-accessible entrance located on 15th Street, between G and H streets.
